Courtyard Terms & Condition
Whilst we want you to enjoy your evening with us and don’t want to limit your experience surrounding you with rules there are some things that will you will need to know and agree upon before hosting your event with Good Grace.
- Music
- We allow live music, we prefer this to be acoustic artists. Our venue isn’t suited to DJ’s and disturbs diners in the front of the restaurant.
- We do have an entertainment system installed into the marquee, and guests are welcome to share their playlist or select from the playlist on the Good Grace spotify account. We as that the device used for the music does not leave the Bar as this can cause interference with the system and result in poor performance and bad audio for you and your guests.
- TV Screen
- The TV system is free of charge and available for guests to use to display slideshows or other entertainment during their event with us. You will need to provide your own device and connect to the TV through a provided (by us) HDMI cable only.
- Closing time
- Events at Good Grace are welcome to start at any time, we have. a 11pm last drinks call, and an exit venue time of 11.30 in respect of some of our residential neighbours.
- Conduct
- We ask at all time that our staff are treated with respect, and any guests who are deemed to be innapropriate towards other guests or team members may be refused service or asked to leave the venue. As the host, you will need to assist in ensuring that your guests do not disturb our other diners in the front of the restaurant.
- Smoking
- Good Grace is a no smoking venue. We have no suitable space to allow this, and ask that smoking happens away from the front of the venue. As an alfresco restaurant, this will disturb the other diners
- Decorations
- You are welcome to bring additional decorations to Good Grace for your event. We do not allow confetti in the venue as it will occur an addition $200 cleaning fee. Balloons, flowers, photo walls and other decorations are all acceptable. Decorations should be endeavoured to be removed at the conclusion of your event however you can organise with management for some items to be stored and collected the following day.
- Deposit
- A 30% deposit will be required for events that require sole use of the Marquee Beer Garden. For events cancelled within 60 days, the depsoit will be non refundable as we have only one function space, we are very unlikely to fill the event space again within 60 days. Final payment will be required the day of event or prior, Bar Tabs will be required to be settled upon event conclusion before leaving the venue.
